This Tuesday I did another body painting shoot. This was Morgan's first time ever modeling, but she did excellent. She took direction well and didnt complain about anything. As always I had to make jokes during the shoot, because that just my personality I have to have fun. Before for the shoot I splatter some paint on her, I know that paint was cold. I also had to splatter paint in her face, I think I like putting my model through stuff. This body painting project is becoming a great exploration to a new series.

Really powerful images. Man, you are a master of the white screen for me, I never find the right tone with that much white! Also is really cool you have models to work at this level!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite will be the first one, really clear and lot of energy, the fact it seams she is not posing is the key factor for me.
I would agree with Ferran, the first one shows the greatest dynamic where it is posed but it is more 'live' due to the action of the head/hair. Good explorations, I would still say explore iconography from different cultures and how that could affect the subject matter of the body paint itself as well, could be interesting body modification thoughts implied there.
