Loving It

I just got doing doing one of my stereotype shoots. Prior to the shoot I went to multiple store to get the most stereotypical items for this certain shoot. Certain people looked astonish when they saw some of the items that i was getting. This made me realize that the shoot would be easily recognizable for a large print.

Start to my series

Yesterday I got to start on my stereotype series for my adv photography class. I must say I feel like I am off to a good start. There still may be a lot to figure out with this stereotype assignment. Mainly how to get the viewer to figure out whats going on in the picture, with little hints of what the stereotype may be. I have play with a different lighting technique also with the pictures that i took yesterday. I feel that the lighting that I used helps out with the presentation and how the picture is viewed. I can truly say this project is not going to be a walk in the park.

Housewives

Last Thursday was the first day of class for me. I had a photoshoot schedule for that day also, it was a housewives photoshoot. My friend Tamika came up with the idea so I told her I was game. We needed a nice location to do the shoot, so i pick up my phone and made a phone call. We had a choice to use a furnish or unfurnished room for the shoot. Of Course my friends wanted to use a furnish room for the shoot. I shoot went good as usually, we had some welcome back to school fun.

engagement

On Saturday I took a drive down to Peachtree City. I had some engagement pictures that I needed to take for Esther and Steve. Now keep in mind I have not taken engagement pictures in about a five months now. I had to get back in the mindset of this type of photography. The reason being is that most of my pictures have been on the edgy side of things lately. I have been given the title as "the edgy photographer" for a few months now, but I am much more then just an edgy photographer. I am glad i got a chance to do some engagement pictures, because it made me get back to doing these type of pictures.
